Qualifications

• Active RN license is required.
• BSN preferred in nursing.

Responsibilities

• Perform concurrent reviews of inpatient records to identify documentation opportunities.
• Evaluate documentation for completeness, specificity, and accuracy.
• Develop and issue compliant physician queries to clarify documentation.
• Collaborate with providers and care teams to improve documentation quality.
• Ensure documentation reflects patient severity of illness and quality metrics.
• Maintain productivity with daily chart reviews and follow-ups.
• Monitor CDI performance metrics and reporting requirements.
• Stay current with coding regulations and documentation best practices.
• Participate in team meetings and process improvements.
