Job summary

CorVel is seeking a Telephonic Case Manager to coordinate resources and develop cost-effective, personalized care plans for injured individuals. This remote role emphasizes clinical assessment, communication with physicians, and timely return-to-work goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in state of operation.
• 3+ years of recent clinical experience, rehab preferred.
• URAC case management certification to be obtained within 3 years if not present.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical case management through coordination with patient, physician, and providers.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient progress.
• Evaluate treatment plans for medical necessity and cost effectiveness.
• Discuss treatment plans with physicians and adjust as needed.
• Make medical recommendations to payers.
• Coordinate delivery of durable medical equipment and nursing services.
• Develop cost-effective care strategies and prepare reports on schedule.
• Maintain productivity standards and perform additional duties as assigned.
