CorVel Corporation is seeking a Telephonic Case Manager to coordinate resources and develop cost-effective, personalized care plans for ill or injured individuals. This remote role emphasizes clinical assessment, communication with physicians, and cost containment while supporting timely return-to-work goals.

Responsibilities include coordinating care with providers and payers, evaluating treatment plans for medical necessity and cost effectiveness, and producing organized reports within set

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN Licensure in state of operation.
• 3+ years of recent clinical experience, preferably in rehabilitation.
• URAC recognized Case Management certification required to be obtained within 3 years of hire if no certification is present at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical case management coordinating with patient, physician, and employer.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient progress.
• Evaluate treatment plan for appropriateness, medical necessity, and cost effectiveness.
• Discuss current treatment plans with physician and discuss alternatives.
• Prepare organized reports within a specified timeframe.
• Maintain a minimum Productivity Standard of 95% per month.
