Job summary

CorVel Corporation is seeking a Telephonic Case Manager to coordinate resources and develop cost-effective, personalized care plans for ill or injured individuals. This remote role supports quality treatment and timely return to work, communicating with physicians to evaluate and adjust care as needed.

You will assess progress, discuss plans with payers and providers, and prepare organized reports while maintaining a 95% productivity standard.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; BSN preferred.
• Current RN licensure in state of operation.
• 3+ years of clinical experience; rehabilitation preferred.
• URAC/certification (ACM/ CCM/ etc.) required to be obtained within 3 years of hire if not present at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical case management coordinating with patient, physician, other health care providers, employer, and referral source.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient's progress.
• Evaluate treatment plan for appropriateness, medical necessity, and cost effectiveness.
• Discuss current and alternate treatment plans with the physician.
• Prepare organized reports within a specified timeframe.
• Maintain minimum productivity standard of 95% per month.
• Additional duties as assigned.
