Job summary

Best Buy in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Platform Engineer for the RMN Platform Operations team to keep the systems behind our advertising business running smoothly. You’ll troubleshoot issues and support platform integrations to empower campaign execution and revenue operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of experience in software engineering, platform engineering, production support, site reliability engineering, technical operations, or enterprise application support.
• 5 years of experience managing production incidents, escalations, and root cause analysis.
• 2 years of experience working with integrated platforms, APIs, SaaS applications, and enterprise workflows.
• 2 years of experience utilizing enterprise ticketing platforms (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow).
• 2 years of experience supporting service operations, including SLA and KPI management.

Responsibilities

• Support launch readiness, hypercare, production stabilization, and technical support activities for the RMN Pitch-to-Pay program.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform, API, and data-related issues.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Marketing Operations, and vendors to solve production incidents.
• Support releases, testing, operational readiness, and post-launch activities.
• Monitor platform health and identify opportunities to improve reliability.
• Create documentation, runbooks, and automation that reduce recurring issues.
