Job summary

Peraton is seeking an Information Assurance RMF Compliance Specialist to support the DoD ICAM platform and AMASS program. The role focuses on RMF compliance, ATO lifecycle support, and secure ICAM implementation for government systems.

The position is 100% remote, requiring DoD RMF experience, strong technical writing, eMASS familiarity, and the ability to collaborate across teams to meet government requirements.

Qualifications

• Technical writing experience with strong technical writing skills.
• Hands on eMASS experience, including artifact management, Implementation Plan.
• Experience performing RMF requirements analysis.
• Experience applying STIGs to web applications, databases, operating systems, and network devices.
• Experience supporting incident response processes.
• Experience supporting cloud security compliance in a DoD environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, update, and maintain AMASS IA policies and SOPs in alignment with RMF and applicable DoD/Federal requirements.
• Update and maintain the AMASS SSP and Implementation Plan within eMASS in compliance with government requirements.
• Update and maintain RMF compliance artifacts including inventories, PPSM uploads, STIG checklists, network diagrams, and other required artifacts.
• Support DoD RMF continuous monitoring requirements and update annual test results in eMASS.
• Support IA compliance status reporting to government stakeholders.
• Assist with migrating the myAuth RMF control baseline to NIST SP 80063 Rev. 5 as directed.
• Support alignment with emerging IA requirements, including FedRAMP.
• Support the myAuth cyber hardening application release approval process with POA&M tracking.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure consistent IA/cybersecurity requirements.
