SkyePoint Decisions is seeking a Security Control Assessor to support the Department of Education’s CPSS in Washington, DC. This is a remote position with responsibilities for RMF/ATO tasks, documentation review, and ongoing authorization activities.

You will work with System Owners and ISSOs, maintaining SSPs, PIAs, RAs, and POA&Ms, while tracking renewal dates and supporting audits. A U.S. citizen with clearance eligibility is required and benefits are provided.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree and 3-5 years related experience.
• Industry professional certification.
• Experience supporting RMF and system authorization/ATO processes.
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 security controls and federal cybersecurity requirements.
• Experience reviewing or developing security documentation such as SSPs, PIAs, Risk Assessments, POA&Ms, and ATO packages.
• Experience supporting continuous monitoring or ongoing authorization activities.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity GRC tools such as CSAM or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a cross-functional team.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain High Risk Public Trust Security Clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Support RMF SA and Ongoing Security Authorization activities in accordance with RMF.
• Review security documentation and system artifacts for ATO packages.
• Assist with development, review, and maintenance of ATO packages.
• Review security documentation including SSPs, PIAs, RAs, POA&Ms.
• Support continuous monitoring and ongoing authorization activities.
• Track ATO and security authorization renewal dates and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Review closed POA&Ms for completeness and compliance.
• Maintain assessment and audit documentation in CSAM or other GRC tools.
• Assist with audit, compliance, and data-call responses.
• Support development and maintenance of security authorization processes and documentation.
