Entrata is seeking a Risk & Underwriting Specialist II to join the Payment Operations team in the United States. The role focuses on underwriting merchant accounts, onboarding, and ongoing monitoring to ensure compliance with credit policies and regulatory standards.

You will verify daily bank file accuracy, perform customer validation against sanction lists, and maintain data integrity across systems. A fast-paced, detail‑oriented environment requires teamwork and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in Accounting, Banking, or the Payments industry.
• Underwriting experience with a focus on payment processing preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree in a related field preferred.
• Availability to work Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with flexibility to stay late including select holidays.

Responsibilities

• Underwrite merchant account applications per policies and standards.
• Monitor daily bank files and transaction records for accuracy.
• Conduct customer validation and risk screening using regulatory tools.
• Maintain merchant data across internal platforms and acquirer systems.
• Process merchant account changes and support audits and compliance checks.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and collaborate on projects.
