Job summary

FiveBy is a Seattle-based security consultancy seeking a remote Risk Intelligence Analyst with advanced English and Russian fluency. The role supports due diligence, sanctions, and trade compliance across the US, requiring autonomous work and strong research methods.

Significant overlap with Pacific hours may be required. The successful candidate will analyze sanctions hits, maintain data integrity, and collaborate across functions while operating in a dynamic, privacy-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced fluency in English and Russian.
• Bachelor's degree, preferably in a research/analytics field.
• Knowledgeable of research best practices and methodologies.
• Experience using research and analysis to support decision-making processes.
• Ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and analyze potential sanctions hits while maintaining compliance requirements.
• Use problem-solving and analytical skills to identify potential business partners and customers.
• Make decisions in a timely manner despite incomplete or ambiguous information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of all information obtained during the research process.
• Monitor global sanctions and economic news.
• Utilize open-source research tools.
