Job summary

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to perform on-site risk control surveys from home or a local office. You will service Knoxville, TN area and nearby locations within approximately 100 miles, scheduling surveys and delivering detailed risk control reports for commercial insurance clients.

Qualified candidates have background in commercial insurance or related fields; a 15-hour online certification option is available if needed.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in commercial insurance and risk assessment.
• Background in real estate, inspection, construction, or safety is a plus.
• 15-hour online certification option available if no experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to clients.
• Identify hazards and recommend loss-prevention measures for underwriting.
• Manage local assignments and meet deadlines.
• Provide reports to insurance industry clients after surveys.
