Job summary

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to perform on-site surveys and risk-control reporting for the Cookeville, TN region and nearby areas. You’ll work from home or an office and handle survey scheduling and client communications to ensure timely delivery of high-quality risk assessment reports.

Preferred background includes commercial insurance, real estate, construction, and safety-related experience.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and/or fire and safety.
• In lieu of experience, a 15-hour online certification option is available.
• Fees are negotiable depending on experience and job specifics.

Responsibilities

• Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to clients.
• Identify hazards and recommend controls to underwrite and reduce loss potential.
• Manage assignments, secure local appointments, and complete work on time.
