Job summary

EXL Risk Control is seeking self-directed independent contractors to perform on-site surveys and risk control reporting for commercial insurance clients. Work from home or an office, servicing Sevierville, TN and nearby locations within about 45 miles.

You will schedule surveys, produce risk control reports, and help underwrite policies by identifying and addressing loss-producing conditions. Preferred background includes commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss

Qualifications

Preferred experience in commercial insurance, real estate, inspection, construction, claim, loss control, underwriting, and/or fire and safety experience is a plus.
In lieu of experience, a 15-hour online certification option is available to qualify you.
Fees are negotiable depending on experience and the unique aspects of selected jobs.

Responsibilities

Schedule on-site surveys and provide risk control reports to clients.
Identify hazards and recommend controls to improve safety and underwriting outcomes.
Manage assignments and secure local appointments within the Sevierville area and surroundings.
Complete work assignments on time and within the assigned territory.
