Job summary

Sentry seeks a Risk Control Consultant in the Raleigh area to deliver safety and risk management services for diverse accounts across dealerships, construction, manufacturing, and retail. The role emphasizes onsite evaluations and risk reporting to support underwriting and profitable growth.

You will develop safety policies, provide consultative services, and conduct OSHA 10 seminars, with up to 50% travel; a strong analytical mindset and self-motivation are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety or equivalent work experience.
• Knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, NFPA Standards, and DOT regulations.
• Experience in insurance safety consulting or safety work in private industry (construction/manufacturing).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite facility evaluations to assess exposure controls.
• Determine scope and schedule of preventive maintenance for key equipment.
• Assess fire suppression and alarm systems for occupancy and hazards.
• Complete risk reports across Property, General Liability, Auto, and Workers' Comp.
• Develop and implement safety policies and programs for accounts.
• Deliver advanced risk management and consultative services to clients.
• Conduct OSHA 10-hour seminars for regional construction line.
• Develop and deliver safety seminars to reduce claims.
• Create service proposals for qualified accounts.
