Job summary

LegitScript is seeking an Analyst to perform accurate analysis and classification of websites, products, and merchants, using open-source intelligence and proprietary tools to identify potential risk or non-compliance. You will contribute directly to LegitScript’s mission of safer internet and payment ecosystems.

The role involves fast-paced work, clear reporting, and strict deadlines, with remote work options within the United States.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a dynamic market with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Excellent time management and prioritization skills.
• Strong judgment and independent decision making.
• Experience with large data sets (Excel and Google Sheets).
• Excellent written communication and reporting skills.
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Responsibilities

• Analyze, assess, and classify certification applicants using OSSINT, proprietary tools, and best practices.
• Understand and utilize tools and resources for regular program tasks.
• Make quick, accurate analytical decisions in ambiguous situations.
• Summarize analysis findings in clear, concise reports.
• Submit reports within strict deadlines and adhere to standards.
• Escalate questions to colleagues using sound judgment.
• Assist with other projects as directed by the Manager.
• Maintain program documentation as directed by Senior Analysts and the Manager.
• Conduct online background investigations and compliance reviews for LegitScript certification.
• Regularly communicate with clients via email, phone, or video conference.
• Monitor billing and payment status and escalate as needed.
