ORC is hiring a Utilities Title Agent to perform title searches and document verification from a home office within Virginia. The role includes travel about 50% across Virginia and requires strong attention to detail and clear communication.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing titles and title reports.
• Proficient reading deeds, legal descriptions, plats and easements.
• MS Office Suite proficiency including Excel, Word and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 120-year title searches using online databases and county courthouses.
• Retrieve and review deeds, mortgages, contracts, easements, tax cards, plats and related documents.
• Prepare accurate Title Reports for clients with complete title information.
• Verify all instruments needed to complete thorough title searches.
