Job summary

ORC is seeking a Right of Way Professional to acquire right-of-way rights for distribution and electrical transmission projects. The role supports project managers, prepares documents, and conducts property research, while coordinating with owners and representatives to advance acquisitions.

Work is remote within Pennsylvania with up to 50% travel across PA. Notary requirements and MS Office proficiency are essential; a valid driver's license and a mobile device are required.

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Notary or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire
• Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• An iOS or Android smartphone to access ORC's systems
• Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Acquire right-of-way rights for distribution and electrical transmission line projects per guidelines and regulations
• Support the Project Manager and project team members
• Prepare real estate documents
• Conduct property research for ownership and boundary information
• Communicate with property owners and their representatives regarding right of way acquisition
• Perform general administrative tasks that keep projects moving
