Job summary

SchooLinks is seeking an experienced RFP Manager to own the end-to-end proposal process for district and state opportunities. You will triage solicitations, coordinate responses across sales, leadership and finance, and ensure timely, high-quality submissions.

You will maintain a vetted content library, manage FOIA requests with legal as needed, and drive improvements in win rate and on-time delivery. This role requires strong writing, sharp judgment, and relentless organization.

Qualifications

• 3+ years managing proposals, bids, or RFP responses in B2B, govtech, edtech, or public sector environments.
• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance proposals.
• A strong writer who can turn technical and cross-functional input into clear, persuasive prose.
• Relentless organization and deadline discipline; manage multiple proposals without slips.
• Ability to drive work across teams and hold people accountable, even if they don’t report to you.
• Sharp judgment on qualification and go/no-go decisions.
• Familiarity with public procurement, government RFPs, FOIA/public records is a strong plus.
• High ownership and low ego.

Responsibilities

• Opportunity Qualification: triage inbox, log solicitations, and surface go/no-go opportunities.
• Working the Proposal: coordinate responses, manage timelines, write compliant proposals, gather required attachments, and liaise with procurement.
• Maintaining the Document Library: keep templates current and manage FOIA requests with legal coordination.
