Job summary

Global InfoTek, Inc. seeks a Lead RF Software Engineer to support Cyber Operations by building and maintaining a production data pipeline for passive RF emitter identification and network analysis.

The role involves real‑world cyber operations support, Python pipeline development, and data visualization tooling. You'll work under the Principal Engineer and Technical Lead, contributing across stream processing, database integration, and CI/CD tooling in air‑gapped Linux environments.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
• Experience with Python data processing pipelines and ETL.
• Strong Linux proficiency and remote server work (SSH).

Responsibilities

• Implement, test, and maintain pipeline components: stream ingestion, rollup, DB write, and batch post-processing.
• Build and maintain browser-based visualization/reporting tools using pipeline data.
• Create and maintain stream simulation infrastructure for testing.
• Develop lightweight TNS simulator components: emitter and receiver models.
• Contribute to MySQL/PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
• Write unit/integration tests and manage CI/CD with GitLab.
• Identify performance bottlenecks; port components to Rust or C as needed.
• Perform basic Linux system administration on remote servers and manage user config.
• Manage source code with GitLab; enforce versioning and code reviews.
• Produce technical documentation for interfaces and tests.
• Participate in periodic technical check-ins with leadership.
