What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
- Identify trends and perform root cause analysis on unpaid and underpaid claims
- Research, appeal, and resolve claim rejections, underpayments, and denials with appropriate insurance payors
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with clinical personnel, teammates, and insurance representatives
- Collect payments from insurance companies on outstanding patient balances
- Maximize collections to achieve performance goals

What is Required (Qualifications):
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to research and problem-solve using analytical and critical thinking skills
- Intermediate computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Healthcare and medical billing/collections experience preferred
- Demonstrated history of resolving challenging issues

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree highly preferred
- Experience in healthcare (Medicare) billing, collections, and/or credits
