Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• 2–4 years in healthcare finance, medical billing, or revenue cycle reconciliation.
• Strong knowledge of insurance remittances (EOBs/ERAs) and payment posting.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile payments daily, weekly, and monthly including EFTs and remittances.
• Compare deposits and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Investigate discrepancies such as underpayments/overpayments and unapplied cash.
• Coordinate with billing, coding, and collections to correct posting errors.
• Prepare reconciliation reports for leadership and assist audits.
• Support process improvements to strengthen revenue cycle efficiency.
