Job summary

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in medical collections, familiarity with oncology coding, and familiarity with Medicare/Medicaid policies. This role supports remote work and requires strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in medical collections.
• Radiation Oncology/Proton experience a plus.
• Expertise in Medicare/Medicaid policies related to medical billing.

Responsibilities

• Reviews monthly AR and follows up for resolution.
• Documents collection activity and prepares daily reports.
• Maintains knowledge of oncology coding and carrier requirements.
• Communicates with patients, physicians, and insurance companies to secure payments.
• Collaborates with other departments to gather necessary information.
