Job summary

University of California Davis Health is seeking a Revenue Integrity Manager to provide strategic and operational leadership for enterprise-wide revenue integrity, including charge audit, revenue monitoring, and analytics.

The role leads Hospital and Professional Billing revenue integrity initiatives, develops policies, and partners with stakeholders to ensure compliant, accurate charge capture and optimal reimbursement.

Qualifications

• RHIA/RHIT/CCS/COC/CPMA/CPC certification required and HFMA CRCR or equivalent must be obtained within 6 months of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare finance related subject matter or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 7+ years Revenue Integrity/Revenue Cycle experience.
• 7+ years hospital and professional coding and/or charge capture experience.
• 5+ years supervisory experience and staff mentoring.
• Experience implementing and supporting EPIC EMR systems.
• Experience with hospital and professional revenue capture.
• Experience with interfaced/integrated multi-vendor applications.
• Advanced analytical skills to monitor KPIs and identify optimization opportunities.
• Strong coding and auditing background with ability to provide actionable feedback.

Responsibilities

• Lead Revenue Integrity Charge Capture Enterprise Services Manager initiatives.
• Oversee audits and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage denial and contract management activities to optimize revenue.
• Communicate effectively with clinical operations, revenue cycle, compliance, finance and IT leaders.
• Develop and implement charge capture policies, training, and education programs.
• Collaborate across departments to identify and resolve complex revenue cycle issues.
