Job summary

LifeStance Health seeks a Revenue Integrity Coding Specialist to join our Shared Services team. You will support Revenue Cycle Management, applying CPT rules, ICD-10 guidelines, and payor policies to improve coding accuracy and prevent denials.

This remote role emphasizes data-driven decision making, collaboration with stakeholders, and proactive audits to protect revenue while enabling clinicians to focus on patient care.

Qualifications

• Certified Medical Coding credential or 4+ years of clinical coding experience in healthcare.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate Revenue Cycle Management objectives and strategic goals.
• Improve Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and denial rate through prompt troubleshooting.
• Respond to external charge code audits and improve payor audit resolution rates
• Identify and correct coding errors to reduce denials and revenue leakage
• Research payer reimbursement guidelines and evaluate their impact on coding practices
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle leadership to enhance upstream intervention and downstream response
• Monitor payer audits to optimize workflows and processes
• Provide monthly scorecards and report progress to senior leadership
