Job summary

LifeStance Health is seeking a certified Revenue Integrity Coding Specialist to join our Shared Services team. The role focuses on CPT/ICD-10 guidelines, payor policies, and denials prevention to support revenue cycle management in a remote US-based capacity.

The ideal candidate will have medical coding certification or 4+ years of experience, strong data analysis skills, and experience with EMR and practice management software. This position offers competitive pay and potential bonuses.

Qualifications

• Passed a Medical Coding Certificate Exam (CPC, CPC-A, CCS, CPMA) or at least 4 years' experience coaching clinical coding.
• Proficient in medical terminology.
• Experience with payor audits, rebuttals, and redeterminations.

Responsibilities

• Accelerate Revenue Cycle Management objectives and advance strategic goals.
• Improve DSO and denial rate through prompt troubleshooting.
• Respond to external charge code audits and improve payor audit resolution.
• Identify and fix coding errors to reduce denials and revenue leakage.
• Research payer guidelines and assess impact on coding practices.
