Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Health Information Management, Accounting, Math, Business or related fields; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 5+ years related experience including at least 3 years of supervisory experience
• Extensive experience implementing, supporting, optimizing, and upgrading MEDITECH and/or other EMR
• Experience mentoring less experienced team members
• Experience being evaluated against and creating action plans based on financial goals and targets to create a profitable service line
• Complete understanding and in-depth working knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, billing guidelines, HIPAA and compliance
• W2 project-based consultants will be expected to provide a computing device that adheres to industry standards and security best practices to use in satisfying the Project Services on behalf of Tegria.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Revenue Cycle Team by delegating tasks, monitoring progress, and evaluating work for timeliness and quality
• Coordinate and lead daily team activities to align with priorities
• Onboard and train new team members for readiness and consistent performance
• Provide feedback and participate in evaluations, coaching, and corrective action
• Oversee customer contracts and report on status; improve cash flow and reduce denials
