This role emphasizes accuracy, timely processing, and adherence to established processes to reduce denial rates, DSO, and bad debt, while identifying revenue opportunities.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with patients, payers, and colleagues.
• Strong documentation and organizational abilities to track cases and respond to inquiries.
• Proven ability to navigate payer portals and billing systems to maximize collections.

Responsibilities

• Review claims with outstanding balances and identify actions to collect revenues.
• Follow up with insurers and patients to collect balances; use payer portals for claim disposition.
• Analyze denials, identify trends, and suggest process improvements to reduce DSO and bad debt.
