Job summary

FAMILY RESOURCE CENTER OF NORTHWEST OHIO INC is seeking a Revenue Cycle and Coding Specialist to support accurate clinical documentation, coding, billing, and revenue cycle processes. The role requires knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS, payer guidelines and HIPAA compliance.

This remote position may require occasional travel to the office. The ideal candidate has an active coding certificate, an associated degree in health information management or related field, and experience in health

Qualifications

• Active coding certificate required.
• Associate degree in health information management or related field or equivalent experience.
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS, CPT, HCPCS and payer guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Analyze clinical documentation to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare, review, submit, and track clean claims for all payer plans.
• Prepare, review, submit, and track prior authorizations.
• Monitor accounts receivable and reimbursements.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Review data and present findings to stakeholders.
