Job summary

University Hospitals is seeking a Revenue Cycle Automation Analyst to design, implement, and optimize automation across revenue cycle operations. The role combines analytics, workflow design, and technology expertise to drive measurable savings and efficiency.

You will partner with leadership, informaticists, and technology teams to translate needs into solutions, develop dashboards, and support AI-enabled initiatives. Remote work optional in alignment with UH policies.

Qualifications

• 3+ years healthcare revenue cycle, healthcare technology, analytics, consulting, process improvement, or related fields.
• Current Epic Certification in a revenue cycle application (Required)
• Experience analyzing complex business processes, data, and technology-enabled workflows.
• Experience supporting technology implementations, optimization initiatives, or operational improvement projects.
• Experience in a large health system or complex healthcare environment preferred.
• Epic revenue cycle, automation, AI, analytics, or healthcare information technology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze revenue cycle workflows, data, and technology use to identify automation opportunities.
• Develop future-state workflows with automation, AI, analytics, and existing tech.
• Gather, document, and translate requirements into functional and tech specs.
• Support design, configuration, testing, implementation, and optimization of tech-enabled solutions.
• Analyze data to establish baselines, identify root causes, quantify opportunities, and measure results.
• Develop dashboards, reports, and tools to monitor performance and benefits.
• Collaborate with leaders, informaticists, technology teams, vendors, and SMEs during implementation.
• Identify opportunities to improve Epic functionality usage before new solutions.
• Support evaluation and implementation of AI, automation, analytics, and workflow tech.
• Develop process docs, test scripts, SOPs, training materials, and implementation tools.
• Support project management activities including work plans, risk tracking, and status reporting.
• Apply structured problem-solving and process-improvement methodologies to complex challenges.
