Job summary

UChicago Medicine is seeking an Automation Developer for Revenue Cycle to design, build, test, and deploy RPA solutions using UiPath, with Epic EHR integration. This full-time remote role partners with Revenue Cycle operations, IT Applications, and Epic analysts to optimize workflows while maintaining HIPAA compliance.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years of UiPath development experience, strong programming skills, and a solid understanding of Revenue Cycle processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
2+ years of hands-on RPA development experience using UiPath and Epic EHR.
Solid understanding of healthcare revenue cycle processes: registration, eligibility, charge capture, claims submission, denials/appeals, payment posting, and collections.
Proficiency in VB.NET, C#, or Python.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test, and deploy RPA bots to automate Revenue Cycle workflows.
Translate business requirements into technical automation designs.
Interact with Epic via Hyperspace UI automation, Epic APIs/Interconnect, and reporting tools.
Conduct testing (unit/integration/UAT) prior to production deployment.
Monitor bot performance, troubleshoot, and implement fixes.
Maintain process and solution documentation.
