Job summary

UTHealth Houston Revenue Cycle is seeking a Revenue Cycle Services Analyst for a remote role with required on-site meetings at the Texas Medical Center. All employees must reside in Texas.

You will perform in-depth analysis, provide insights on trends, support decision making, and collaborate with providers and clinics across UTHealth to optimize revenue cycle performance. Strong AR, coding, Excel, and data analytics experience are essential, with comfortable public speaking for presenting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in healthcare admin, business, or related field; may substitute years of experience.
• 3 years revenue cycle experience including AR follow up, registration, scheduling, eligibility, insurance verification, authorizations.
• Strong Excel and data analytics; comfortable with presenting findings.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with revenue cycle leadership to develop monthly reporting packages.
• Assess needs across the institution and identify significant issues and improvement opportunities.
• Provide analytical support to change management, projects and process improvements.
• Travel to physician practice locations in the greater Houston area to observe and assist with needs.
• Build relationships across the organization for revenue cycle operations.
