Qualifications

• HS/GED or bachelor’s in business preferred, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years’ Revenue Cycle Management experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Submitting medical documentation/billing data to insurance providers
• Researching and appealing denied and rejected claims
• Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software including electronic and paper claim processing
• Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frame
• Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payment if necessary
• Reviewing insurance payments for accuracy and completeness
