Cardinal Health US nationwide field is a full-time, remote role supporting Revenue Cycle Management activities. Responsibilities include submitting billing data, researching denied claims, transmitting claims via billing software, and following up on payments. Strong Excel skills and ICD-10 knowledge are preferred.

The role offers an hourly compensation range and comprehensive benefits. Remote hours align with EST business needs, with a focus on accuracy and timely processing.

Qualifications

• HS, GED or bachelor’s degree in business related field preferred, or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 2+ years’ experience within Revenue Cycle Management preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within team environment.
• Able to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.
• Familiarity with ICD-10 coding.
• Competent with computer systems, software and 10 key calculators.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Prior EdgePark and/or Cardinal Health at Home Customer Operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Submitting medical documentation/billing data to insurance providers
• Researching and appealing denied and rejected claims
• Preparing, reviewing, and transmitting claims using billing software including electronic and paper claim processing
• Following up on unpaid claims within standard billing cycle time frame
• Calling insurance companies regarding any discrepancy in payment if necessary
• Reviewing insurance payments for accuracy and completeness
