Job summary

Autura is seeking a Manager of Revenue & Billing Operations to own the full billing-to-cash cycle and lead a small team. You will review contracts for proper terms, ensure ASC 606-compliant revenue recognition, and reconcile activity to the subledger and GL in NetSuite.

You will drive automation, partner with Sales and Legal, and mentor staff as the org scales. The role requires 5+ years in order-to-cash with 2+ years of managerial experience, handling 2,500+ customers across multiple entities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of order to cash & 2+ years of management experience at $50M+ revenue scale with 2,500+ active customers across multiple entities
• Track record of building or redesigning billing and collections processes
• Contract experience: identifying terms, milestones, translating language into accurate invoices
• Working knowledge of ASC 606 across subscription, professional services, and transaction-based arrangements
• Hands-on NetSuite: saved searches, workflow rules, billing schedules, period-close, and report building
• Salesforce experience: opportunity and contract records, billing validation data pulls, Sales-to-Finance handoff

Responsibilities

• Own billing, contracts & revenue recognition across multiple entities and streams.
• Represent accounting during contract reviews to ensure terms before signing.
• Ensure revenue recognition in line with ASC 606.
• Reconcile billing activity to subledger and GL in NetSuite; maintain templates and configurations.
• Own end-to-end collections: aging reviews, outreach cadences, escalations, disputes, cash application.
• Forecast cash collections weekly and monthly.
• Audit workflows and design automation to improve efficiency.
• Evaluate/ configure third-party tools to extend NetSuite capabilities and trigger escalation logic.
• Partner with Sales, CS, Legal and FP&A to align billing with closed deals.
• Set process standards, mentor team, support onboarding, and contribute to audits.
