Job summary

Affirm is seeking an experienced analytics engineer to join the Revenue Analytics team. You will lead scalable data products, shaping the data layer, semantic foundations, and AI enablement for the revenue organization.

You will drive design, governance, and testing of data products powering reporting for revenue operations, executives, and external merchants, while mentoring analysts and cross-functional partners.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in analytics engineering or related technical analytics roles.
• Deep expertise in SQL, dbt, data modeling, metrics design, data quality, and documentation.
• Experience with BI tools (Sigma, Looker, Tableau) and data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks).
• Knowledge of AI foundations (semantic layers, metadata, lineage, access controls, data quality).
• Ability to independently lead complex projects and influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead high-impact data product initiatives from problem definition to design and adoption.
• Advance AI initiatives within the Revenue data ecosystem and establish foundations for AI.
• Design and build durable data products powering revenue operations and reporting.
• Set technical direction for Revenue’s data layer, including dbt models and governance.
• Identify opportunities to automate and scale Revenue Analytics through better architecture.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to analysts and partners.
