INNERGY, a remote software company for woodworking ERP, seeks a Revenue Accounting Manager to own revenue recognition and contract accounting in a SaaS environment. You will collaborate with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer teams to ensure accurate, scalable processes in ASC 606.

The role emphasizes month-end close, reconciliations, and controls, with opportunities to influence how revenue is reported across subscriptions, services, and discounts in a growing, PE-backed setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with revenue focus.
• CPA or public accounting experience.
• Experience reviewing SaaS or software contracts.
• Experience with month-end and quarter-end close.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Experience with ERP, billing, CRM, and revenue automation systems.
• Experience with multi-element arrangements and variable consideration.

Responsibilities

• Review contracts and determine accounting treatment for software, subscriptions, services.
• Manage revenue-related month-end and quarter-end close.
• Coordinate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams on non-standard contracts.
• Develop and maintain revenue recognition memos and documentation.
• Support forecasting and reporting on revenue trends and drivers.
• Assist audits and strengthen internal controls.
