INNERGY, a SaaS provider for the woodworking industry, is hiring a Revenue Accounting Manager to own revenue recognition, contract accounting, and month-end close. You will partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer teams to ensure scalable, compliant processes in a growing SaaS environment.

The ideal candidate has ~5+ years in revenue accounting, a CPA or public accounting background, and experience with multi-element arrangements, ERP, billing, and revenue automation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• ~5+ years of progressive accounting experience with revenue accounting.
• ~ CPA or public accounting experience.
• Experience reviewing SaaS, software, or other complex customer contracts.
• Experience managing revenue through month-end and quarter-end close.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Experience with ERP, billing, CRM, and revenue automation systems.
• Experience supporting a scaling or private equity-backed organization.
• Familiarity with multi-element arrangements, professional services, implementation fees, contract modifications, and variable consideration.

Responsabilités

• Review contracts and determine revenue accounting treatment for software, subscriptions, implementation, professional services, and other revenue streams.
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams on non-standard contracts and pricing.
• Develop accounting documentation and revenue recognition memos.
• Support forecasting and reporting by analyzing revenue trends and drivers.
• Identify opportunities to automate revenue processes and controls.
• Support annual audits with revenue recognition documentation.
• Strengthen internal controls to keep revenue processes audit-ready.
• Serve as subject matter expert on revenue accounting and ASC 606.
