Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and scale revenue accounting, including ASC 606 compliance, contract analytics, and month-end close. You will partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer teams to ensure accurate, scalable processes.

The ideal candidate has a strong technical accounting background in SaaS, plus experience in ASC 606 and GAAP; support audits and drive process improvements in a growing organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• 5+ years progressive accounting experience with revenue focus.
• CPA or public accounting experience.
• Experience in SaaS or recurring-revenue business.
• Strong ASC 606 and U.S. GAAP knowledge.
• Experience reviewing complex SaaS contracts.
• Experience managing revenue close processes.
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills.
• Ability translate technical accounting into business guidance.
• Detail-oriented with strategic thinking; cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Own revenue recognition process per ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Review contracts and determine accounting treatment for software, subscription, services.
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close; journal entries, reconciliations, deferred revenue.
• Maintain revenue and deferred revenue reporting; investigate variances.
• Collaborate with Sales, Legal, Finance, and Customer teams on contracts and pricing.
• Develop accounting documentation and revenue memos.
• Support forecasting and provide revenue insights; identify drivers.
• Identify automation to improve revenue processes and controls.
• Support audits and provide revenue documentation; ensure audit readiness.
• Serve as internal revenue accounting expert.
