Job summary

INNERGY is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to own and scale revenue accounting processes as the business grows. This role covers revenue recognition, contract accounting, month-end close, reconciliations, and ASC 606 compliance.

You will partner with Finance, Sales, Legal, and Customer teams to ensure accurate, scalable revenue processes. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise in a growing SaaS environment and can translate complex requirements into practical

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5+ years of accounting with revenue focus.
• CPA or public accounting experience.
• Experience with ASC 606 and SaaS contracts.
• Strong Excel and finance systems knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end revenue recognition per ASC 606 and GAAP.
• Review contracts for appropriate accounting treatment (software, subscriptions, services).
• Manage month-end and quarter-end close, journal entries, reconciliations, deferred revenue.
• Maintain accurate revenue and deferred revenue reporting; investigate variances.
• Support forecasting and reporting on revenue trends and drivers.
• Assist with audits and strengthen internal controls for revenue processes.
