Job summary

The Whatnot Finance team seeks an Accounting professional to own month-end close, revenue analytics, and contract review. You will partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate reporting and efficient operations.

With a focus on US GAAP and strong Excel skills, you will contribute to audits, build reconciliations for new entities, and leverage NetSuite, FloQast, ZIP, Snowflake, and Sigma to deliver high-quality financial information for business partners.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting; CPA is desirable.
• Thorough US GAAP expertise and month-end close experience.
• Experience in e-commerce/tech industries preferred.
• Advanced Excel and data transformation skills.
• Curiosity and willingness to adopt AI tools to improve efficiency and quality.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Self-starter with ownership mindset; process improvement focus.
• Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, ZIP, Snowflake, Sigma is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: manage monthly revenue close, analytics, and reconciliations.
• Review customer and marketing contracts; coordinate with cross-functional teams for reporting.
• Support external audits and build SOPs; drive process improvements and new entity reconciliations.
• Lead cross-functional projects delivering high-quality information to business partners.
