Job summary

Whatnot is a fast-growing live commerce platform with remote and hub-based teams across the US. We are seeking a Revenue Accounting Associate to own month-end revenue close, ensure accurate reporting, and support audits in a dynamic ecommerce environment.

You will work with Finance on US GAAP close, leverage NetSuite and other relational tools, and partner with cross-functional teams to improve processes while maintaining high-quality data.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting; CPA is desirable.
• 2–3+ years of professional accounting experience, preferably private and public.
• Strong understanding of month-end close and US GAAP.

Responsibilities

• Month-End Close: revenue close, analytics, journal entries, reconciliations.
• Contract review of customer and marketing agreements with cross-functional teams.
• Support external audits and build SOPs; ad hoc reporting and improvements.
• Collaborate across teams to deliver accurate financial information to partners.
