Empower seeks a Senior Workplace Planning Consultant to provide retirement and financial wellness guidance to participants in employer plans. You will guide clients through managed accounts and deepen relationships through proactive engagements.

The successful candidate is a self-starter with strong organizational skills, upbeat and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment, handling inbound and outbound calls with follow-through.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
• 2+ years of experience in financial services, retirement planning or advisory.
• Demonstrated success in sales.
• Good understanding of IRAs and retirement plan environment.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency with Windows and MS Office; Salesforce knowledge.
• Investment Adviser Representative (IAR) registration via Series 65 or equivalent.
• FINRA fingerprinting required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Cultivate relationships with customers by delivering personalized service and responding to questions.
• Relay accurate information and communicate policies clearly.
• Retain assets through education and guidance on plan options.
• Educate customers on distribution decisions and tax implications.
• Deliver optimal solutions in every interaction.
• Collaborate with peers to problem solve and achieve results.
• Use tools to identify best retirement planning options.
• Meet monthly and annual sales and service goals.
