Job summary

Empower Workplace Planning Consultants deliver guidance on retirement savings options such as 401(k) and IRAs, helping customers at key life moments, including transitions in employment. The role emphasizes deepening relationships while supporting retirement goals through informed guidance and supported products.

The position offers base salary with a bonus component and potential growth into a Senior Consultant role, with remote/hybrid options and a focus on service excellence for diverse

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and professional work experience.
• Minimum of 1 year experience in performance/goal-oriented roles, ideally in asset growth and retention.
• Current FINRA licenses and/or ability to obtain FINRA 7, 63 & 65 (or 66) registrations within corporate timelines; complete fingerprinting on hire.
• Motivated, self-starter with the ability to learn new information quickly and independently.
• Demonstrated relationship management and customer service skills.
• Problem-solving skills and ability to engage with customers, ask questions, share thoughts, and offer solutions.

Responsibilities

• Provide over the phone guidance at key life moments to customers regarding employer-sponsored retirement accounts.
• Discuss available account options (401K, IRAs) to align with retirement goals.
• Educate customers on information specific to their retirement plan and compare options.
• Focus on deepening customer relationships with Empower.
