Job summary

Loren D. Stark Company is seeking a Retirement Plan Documents Specialist to manage restatements, amendments, and notices for client plans. This is work-from-home, full-time/exempt, with a base salary of $62,500 plus monthly bonuses and annual incentives.

The role requires at least three years in ERISA and plan document interpretation, familiarity with FIS Relius and Datair, and strong communication. You will support consultants, coordinate with institutions, and stay current on ERISA changes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of ERISA and retirement plan document interpretation required.
• 3+ years with a Third-Party Administrator (TPA).
• Working knowledge of retirement plan documents and related software.
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and deadlines.
• Ability to explain complex retirement plan concepts clearly.
• Professional, client-focused customer service.
• Team-oriented with ability to supervise support staff.

Responsibilities

• Review and correct documents for newly sold plans and deliver to clients.
• Prepare restated plan documents from prior firms and mandatory updates.
• Prepare amendments/restatements and coordinate with financial institutions for execution.
• Prepare, review, and deliver required notices to clients in IRS/DOL deadlines.
• Respond to internal/external emails and serve as technical resource for consultants.
• Provide superior customer service and clear communications.
• Assist clients with initial/ongoing plan design and document support.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of ERISA changes.
• Coordinate with parties to ensure accurate conversion for new clients.
• Support document-related legislative updates and cycle restatements.
