Job summary

Transamerica Corporation is seeking a Retirement Plan Specialist I to support 401k participants. This fully remote role requires FINRA licensing, life/health licenses within 60 days, and at least one year in financial services. You will guide clients through retirement products and work with teams to fulfill requests.

The role offers a base salary with potential bonuses and comprehensive benefits, with on-going training and development in a remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business field or equivalent professional experience.
• FINRA licenses required (6/63/65 or 7/66).
• Life and Health licenses required within 60 days of hire.
• 1 year of experience in financial services.
• Basic knowledge of financial products in retirement space.
• Strong customer service, communication, and listening skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; CRM experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn all products in the assigned retirement specialty and regulatory landscape.
• Explain options to customers and recommend suitable solutions.
• Identify multi-product needs and connect customers to specialists.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and fulfillment teams to process requests.
