Job summary

Transamerica is seeking a Retirement Plan Specialist to join our remote advisory team, leveraging warm leads to support clients with retirement products and financial challenges.

The role requires FINRA licensing, a business degree or equivalent experience, strong customer service and communication skills, and the ability to work independently from a remote home office while meeting service levels. The position offers ongoing growth and performance incentives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or equivalent experience.
• FINRA Series 6, 63, and 65; or Series 7 and 66 (required to be approved in all states).
• Life and Health licenses (required within 60 days of hire).
• One year of experience in financial services.
• Basic knowledge of financial products related to the assigned specialty area.
• Customer service, interpersonal, and listening skills to effectively communicate and earn trust.
• Problem-solving and decision-making skills to recommend product solutions.
• Written, verbal, and presentation skills to provide information via phone, email, video, chat, etc.
• Proficiency using MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Learn all products in the assigned specialty area and stay aware of regulations.
• Explain product options for routine inquiries and make recommendations.
• Identify multi-product needs and connect customers to other specialists.
• Collaborate with relationship managers and fulfillment analysts to start product requests.
