Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Consultant – Insurance Consulting (Retirement & Pension) to transform retirement and pension programs across strategy, operating model, processes, and technology. You’ll shape engagements within Cognizant Consulting’s Insurance Practice and partner with client leaders to deliver measurable value.

You will lead projects, manage scope and economics, mentor teams, and develop trusted relationships with retirement and pension clients, while pursuing growth opportunities

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or a related field.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in the retirement and pension industry.
• Hands-on experience across retirement and pension offerings such as DC/DB, annuities, NQDC, COLI, or pension risk transfer.
• Strong ethics and work ethic, with a proven track record of building trusted client relationships.
• Ability to translate client objectives into clear scope and executable tasks.
• Proven people leadership skills with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and deliver retirement and pension consulting engagements by assessing client maturity and helping transform business and operating models.
• Partner with client and Cognizant leadership to plan, scope, and execute value-additive consulting projects while managing engagement economics.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to retirement and pension clients, building strong, ethical, and long-standing working relationships.
• Support business development activities including upsell opportunities and management of RFI/RFP responses.
• Coach, develop, and inspire consulting teams while ensuring quality, relevance, and consistency of client deliverables.
