Job summary

Cognizant Consulting is seeking a Senior Consultant for Insurance—Retirement & Pension to lead retirement and pension engagements, shaping strategy, operating models, processes and technology for clients in the US. You will partner with client and Cognizant leadership, manage scope and engagement economics, and develop teams while building lasting relationships.

Remote role in the United States with flexible work options.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, Engineering, or related field.
• Approximately 5 years of experience in retirement and pension industry.
• Hands-on experience across retirement offerings (DC, DB, annuities, NQDC, COLI, pension risk transfer).
• Strong ethics and proven ability to build trusted client relationships.
• Ability to translate client objectives into clear scope and executable tasks.
• Proven people leadership skills with ability to coach, mentor, and develop teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead retirement and pension consulting engagements, assessing client maturity and transforming business and operating models.
• Plan, scope, and execute value-added projects while managing engagement economics.
• Serve as a trusted advisor, building long-standing client relationships.
• Support business development, including upsell opportunities and RFI/RFP responses.
• Coach and develop consulting teams to ensure quality and consistency of deliverables.
