United Natural Foods, Inc. seeks a Retail Merchandising Sales Rep to drive sales and deliver high‑quality merchandising at assigned Matthew, NC locations.

You will manage orders, stock shelves, execute resets, and support continuity programs, with occasional stretch projects and direction from Shelf Services leadership. You will be the primary contact for customers, implement customer plans during visits, and provide feedback to UNFI stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year related experience in Retail or Distribution.
• Prior Sales and customer service experience in a retail setting.
• Food related product experience desired.
• Bilingual – Spanish a plus.

Responsabilités

• Influence customer orders by identifying sales opportunities and recommending item discontinuations; place orders, merchandise products, hang shelf tags, and set promotions.
• Serve as the primary contact for assigned customers and merchandising projects and provide feedback to UNFI stakeholders.
• Rotate stock, remove out-of-code items, and process returns/credits per policy.
• Regularly communicate with UNFI personnel on competitive activity and customer requests.
• Collaborate with supervisors or account managers to develop action plans and meet deadlines and budgets.
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in project planning and selling UNFI products and services.
• Extensive travel could be required within the assigned geographical area.
• Complete required documentation accurately and stay current on Shelf Services tools.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
