Ace Hardware Corporation seeks an experienced Retail Development Project Manager to lead growth projects across KS/OK, guiding independent Ace retailers through expansions, relocations, renovations, conversions and new store development. You’ll advise on investments, manage scope, schedule and cost, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver profitable store upgrades.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or construction preferred.
• Capital project selling experience.
• 3+ years in project management, retail operations, store development, construction management, business consulting, account management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Align with Ace values and stakeholders across the organization.
• Serve as primary contact and trusted advisor for retailers through project lifecycle.
• Consult, develop, and close retail project opportunities using consultative selling.
• Inspire prospects and retailers to achieve project penetration and educate on renovation benefits.
• Build relationships with retailers, District Managers, Retail Operations, New Business, Merchandising, and cross-functional teams.
• Plan and develop scope for expansions, relocations, renovations, conversions and new stores; coordinate with District Managers.
• Manage resources to meet project schedules and assess retail potential for optimal market placement.
• Review potential real estate locations and evaluate landlord criteria and lease components with stakeholders.
• Track project updates using corporate PM tools and conduct site visits for progress checks.
