Job summary

Playa Bowls is seeking a Construction Manager to lead new shop builds and franchise support from a remote/field-based setting. You’ll coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and GC teams to ensure on-time, on-budget openings while maintaining safety and brand standards.

Ideal candidates have 5–7 years in restaurant construction, strong communication, and proficiency with FranConnect, Google Suite, and MS Office. Travel up to 30% is required.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of restaurant construction management experience
• Experience partnering with franchise owners throughout construction process
• Proficient in Google Suite, FranConnect and Microsoft Office
• Thorough understanding of engineering drawings, AIA standards, permitting processes and building codes
• Understanding of contracts, plans, specifications and regulations
• Highly organized with ability to manage multiple projects
• Willingness to travel up to 30%
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead project planning with franchise owners, architects, engineers, and other parties to identify and mitigate risks
• Use FranConnect and GC trackers to align cross-functional teams for timely, cost-effective development
• Coordinate solutions to design and construction issues with stakeholders
• Schedule and budget projects, forecast costs, and report progress
• Ensure safety standards and adherence to budgets and schedules
• Support development of store buildouts and vendor management
